These standards apply to profiles, photos, messages, Hangouts, and every other interaction on Fireside. They work alongside our Terms of Service.
Be honest
- Use your real identity and accurate age, photos, relationship intentions, and profile details.
- Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or create deceptive accounts.
- Do not use Fireside to solicit money, promote investment schemes, or conduct fraud.
Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, hate speech, or degrading behavior.
- Respect boundaries and consent. A match, Spark, or message never implies consent to sexual or romantic activity.
- Do not send explicit sexual content, pressure someone for intimate material, or share private content without permission.
Keep the community safe
- No violence, credible threats, human trafficking, exploitation, illegal drug sales, or promotion of dangerous activity.
- No account or content involving anyone under 18.
- Do not publish another person’s private contact, location, financial, or identifying information.
Use Hangouts responsibly
- Describe the plan, place, time, and expectations accurately.
- Hosts and participants should choose public locations, arrange their own transportation, and tell someone they trust about the plan.
- Do not use Hangouts to organize illegal, unsafe, exploitative, or misleading activity.
Enforcement
Fireside may remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, or contact appropriate authorities when needed to protect members or comply with law. Context, severity, history, and credible risk may all affect a decision.
